Weaving Mental Health into Youth Sports
We’re a nonprofit movement making emotional resilience just as important as athletic performance. Together, we’re reimagining youth sports—one child, one coach, one game at a time.

Why We Exist
Sports have the power to heal—but only when they’re safe and inclusive. At Threads of Resilience, we fund access to therapy, resilience training, and mental health support for young athletes—especially those with ADHD, anxiety, or physical differences.
We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive on and off the field, no matter their challenges.
“I started Threads because I saw how the sport of gymnastics could either uplift a child—or cause harm. We’re here to change that story for every athlete.” — Lauren F. Ganim, Founder

What We Offer
We create and fund programs that empower kids to build grit, confidence, and community—through sports, therapy, and resilience tools.

What Happens When We Show Up
Our programs change lives—on the field, in the classroom, and at home. Families tell us their kids sleep better, show more confidence, and feel part of something bigger.
- 85% of parents reported improved emotional regulation in their child
- 400+ children reached since launch
- 90% of athletes said they feel more “understood” in our programs
